Developed on a highway traffic circle near the Jaipur International Airport (or Sanganer Airport), Jawaharlal Circle is considered one of the biggest circular parks in Asia. Developed by Jaipur Development Authority in 2009 as a leisure destination, the park features lush greenery, well-maintained jogging tracks, beautiful rose gardens, children’s rides and amusement park, majestic pavilions, and a delightful musical fountain at the center which comes to life in the evenings with synchronized music and colorful lights. The key attraction is the entrance to the park - the Patrika Gate, which is also one of the most photographed spots here. The gate is renowned for its intricate and colorful Rajasthani-style architecture. It features intricately carved pillars, arches, and domes, all adorned with vibrant paintings and motifs that depict the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. Jawahar Circle serves as both a representation of the Rajasthani culture through its architectural details and as a popular recreational hub with its several leisure attractions.
